What do you remember about your elementary and middle school experiences? What did you learn that has had a lasting influence? Who were your most influential teachers and/or caregivers? Why?

Elementary is the best years that many people could have had because it is a time where you are a kid and have the energy to have fun and be very active especially during a gym class or even recess, something that many will remember but have not had for a while. But in reality the most memorable moment in elementary was a fun game called rainbow parachute where kids would have a huge rainbow colored parachute that is very huge and then simultaneously raise it and then quickly get under it and sit on the edges of the parachute so air stays inside and then suddenly you have a dome where it is a color of a rainbow and you are inside of it. Personally i loved that small little game and be able to just have small ice breakers in that parachute. Other things that I remembered great about elementary was that playing gym was the best time of the day and i am serious that i really don't remember any teachers but for a fact my mother has gained a great trust with a teacher of mine and now she has helped now with my mother be a better parent for a kid that is getting a good education compared to her. Even though I do not remember meeting her as my teacher I am very thankful that she has been a great person to be able to help me in many choices for schools such as getting ready for middle school and preparing for NECAP in all grades. She helped in many educational difficulties such as decided to what colleges would be a great opportunity for me.

In middle school I have had many things changed about me especially when I was in the so called pre-teen stage where I was having the thought that I was always right no matter what even if i knew I was not. During my middle school experience I will admit that i had a struggle with paying attention in school and also in general doing well in school. I was then in a point of almost repeating a whole year if i would not straighten out. After being told that and having a huge push of having my parents being notified I then was pushed into finding out why i was not trying to pass my classes and after a long talk and many people telling me that i need to complete and not be behind to a point where then i cannot be able to catch up. The best influence that i had was having the experience of almost being held back but in the end i had lots of people able to help me get back on track and get out of the stage of ignoring to study and do homework and eventually i was back on track and was able to head to high school were I had a great time and then was able to head to college and now i am very thankful that i had my elementary teacher still be able to help with decision that have made.
